Dr. Andreas Jahnigen is a highly experienced oral and implant surgeon with advanced qualifications in Implantology and Periodontology. He holds a Diploma and two Master’s degrees from the German Association of Implantology (DGI), the world’s largest Implantology organization. Dr. Jahnigen completed his dental degree in 2001 at the Medical University of Hanover, Germany. Early in his career, he gained invaluable experience working alongside his father, Dr. Lutz Jahnigen, a renowned implant surgeon, furthering his passion for dental implantology.
Dr. Jahnigen’s postgraduate training is extensive. He holds advanced surgical and prosthodontic implantology certifications from Boston, USA, and has completed specialized training in sinus lifts with Dr. Ziv Masur. In 2008, he enhanced his expertise by completing the International Master Course on Implantology in Paris. He regularly places implants from leading systems such as Straumann, Xive (Dentsply), and Alpha-Bio (NobelBiocare).
In addition to his expertise with conventional titanium implants, Dr. Jahnigen has developed a particular passion for ceramic SDS implants. These innovative, metal-free implants are made from zirconia, a biocompatible and highly durable ceramic material. Ceramic implants are an ideal choice for patients seeking a more holistic, natural alternative to titanium
Fluent in English, German, and French, he creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients from all backgrounds, making sure they feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Jahnigen is an accomplished pianist and avid tennis player, enjoying the balance of creativity and physical activity to complement his dedication to dentistry.
